A: The web site migration service offered by Marcoby Cloud is entirely free and involves transferring all your website files, databases and emails from your present hosting provider to your brand–new web hosting account with us. We’ll also revise all the settings needed for your web sites to be completely operational on our ultra–modern cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are fully capable of moving any sort of site. With years of experience in this field, they’re experts in the specificities of our hosting platform, our Control Panel as well as all other widely used Control Panels. For them, transferring a custom–made application with many custom libraries is as easy as transferring a plain WordPress weblog.

A: While we cannot give you a precise time window, since there are many variables, among them the size of the web files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our best to migrate your site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (if the content is not very large).

A: We do not need any sensitive information. We will need, however, the login info for your old hosting account along with the name of the website that you’d like to migrate.

A: Our Privacy Policy is an indivisible part of the contract that we will have with you as a customer. We are dedicated to protecting the security of the private details collected from the clients. To do that, we use technical safety measures in order to prevent the loss, the misappropriation, the alteration or the unlawful disclosure of the personal info under our control. The safety measures include, but are not limited to: physical, digital and managerial procedures to protect and secure the details that we obtain online. When we ask users to provide financial information (such as a debit card number), this info is secured using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.

A: Nah. Your website will continue to be fully operational during the migration. Once everything is completed on our end, we will tell you so that you can examine it and check for problems. If everything is okay, all you will need to do is modify your domain’s DNS records.

A: Nope. Apart from your login credentials for the Control Panel, we won’t require anything. We’ll never get in touch with your web hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the transfer either.

A: Yes. We support all traditional Linux–based web hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–based web hosting platforms, because we do not offer Windows hosting services ourselves.Furthermore, we don’t support proprietary site creation and management tools such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
