JailHost is available as a standard with all the cloud hosting plans that we offer and you can activate it with only a single mouse click from your Hepsia Control Panel. Unlike other Control Panels where add-on domains keep their content within the main domain folder, each domain or subdomain in Hepsia has its own folder, therefore using JailHost can make a major difference. You can choose which Internet sites will use this feature and will be locked in accordance with your content as you may have some site where you'd like to allow users or administrators to access other folders inside your web hosting account. Yet, this feature will add an extra level of security to your Internet sites in addition to the firewalls which we use and even if any of your websites is hacked, you could restore it fast and easy using any one of the several daily backups of your entire account which we'll generate.
JailHost in Semi-dedicated Servers
Our semi-dedicated server plans come with JailHost included by default. The option is not enabled automatically when you add a domain name as you may need to use a script that accesses several folders in the account, yet you'll be able to activate it easily from your Hepsia Control Panel and protect your other sites with just a couple of clicks. Hepsia is much better to use when you have multiple websites because it keeps them in separate folders and doesn't keep the files for several sites in the same folder as it often happens with many other Control Panels. This allows us to offer JailHost as all folders can be separated from each other. In case that any of your sites is hacked, we will almost instantly restore it using the multiple daily backup copies which we'll keep and meanwhile your attacker won't be able to do further damage because the access to your other sites will be cut off.
